The Berta Hummel Museum
The Hummel House in Massing (Bavaria, Germany) has been in the Hummel family for one hundred and twenty-seven years. Jakob Hummel opened a small store here in 1875. Since that time four generations have devoted their time and efforts to the development of the town of Massing. Hummels have served as mayors of the city and have received both recognition and awards from the city. In 1994 part of the Hummel House was redesigned to make room for the Berta Hummel Museum. Here in the rooms where she grew up, visitors can enjoy the well-planned and carefully-organized exhibitions. We invite you to join us there. |
